Dear One,

Intentional Creativity Teachers sign the back of their paintings with this seal. A gold circle surrounded by a red circle. My teacher Sue Hoya Sellars used to sign her paintings with a gold thumbprint. When we sign the Intentional Creativity Guild book at graduation for Color of Woman, we sign with this symbol.

Why? So that in 100 years, when the community living now is returned to stardust…and others find our paintings throughout the world, they will know we were connected. Yes, I am thinking that far into the future. I dream and feel in forms of legacy that go beyond my lifetime. Yet there is another reason – because when we paint that on there we KNOW we are connected, and we contribute our awareness of that connection through the quantum field. When we add the seal, we feel it. We infuse our paintings with this presence, and this love.

We don’t have to wait until 100 years to make our work known
In fact, Intentional Creativity reaches tens of thousands of women a month. Our free education is open to over 25k every month. Right now over 1000 women have said yes to painting together in community through the INSIGHT Experience (even though all don’t participate in real time). Fifteen years ago I remember the moment my website reached 100,000 people. I have stopped counting but the impact is real and long lasting. Twenty years ago I remember when my self published book, Color of Woman sold 10k, doing it on my own. We serve over 6500 women in the Red Thread Cafe, financing that project, as well as over 500 women a month with our Free Red Thread Connect, calls. Bringing over 150k worth of jobs back into the community for graduates to do good work. And this year we will have over 20+ gatherings in over 21 cities and 8 countries.

Based on our stats and my study of the art movements in the world at this time – I feel we are one of the most developed and widespread that the world has seen. Connected by a red thread woven throughout the cosmos with each one of us holding our own piece. These are not just art classes, this is a community of women who are studying the philosophy of Intentional Creativity together and choosing to gather.

As for us, in 2020 we will have had a legal woman-owned community for 16 years. Our plans were for 100 years so we have 84 to go and we plan to grow old together. This is much more than another certification course. Color of Woman is the initiatory entrance into a tribe of women who gather around the world as artists, philosophers, healers and teachers.

If you are called to create art, called by becoming conscious, and desire to serve others with your gifts, then you are invited to apply today. We don’t think you need to be sold into this, we have heard that the women who are called KNOW in their bones. If that’s you I look forward to reading your application this weekend. The application is a video interview and we hear it is even fun to fill out. Come on over.

“It is six A.M., and I am working. I am absentminded, reckless, heedless of social obligations, etc. It is as it must be. The tire goes flat, the tooth falls out, there will be a hundred meals without mustard. The poem gets written. I have wrestled with the angel and I am stained with light and I have no shame. Neither do I have guilt.” ~ Mary Oliver
